2026 CSL opening match: Chegndu 5-1 Shenzhen

The 2026 Chinese Super League season kicked off on Friday evening with Chengdu Rongcheng hosting Shenzhen Peng City in Fenghuangshan Stadium. Despite conceding early in the game, Chengdu came back to thrash Shenzhen Peng City 5–1, thanks to a brace from Wellington Silva and further goals from Felipe, Hu Hetao and Liao Rongxiang.
