China play New Zealand to scoreless tie

In Auckland, China tie 0:0 with New Zealand in Aleksandar Janković's debut as the China NT head coach. China gained one-man advantage after Thomas Smith was sent off with 30 minutes remaining. Shots from Wu Lei and Lin Liangming were close to break the deadlock.
