After the departure of Elkeson and Alan Carvalho, as well as the retirement of Zheng Zhi, no young player of Guangzhou is willing to take the No. 9-11, the three shirt numbers embodying importance in the attacking line. Guangzhou's No. 9-11 will be vacant in the new season.
